FOLKTALES & FABLES

The Brief  A collaborative zine created with fellow illustrators at the University of Gloucestershire.

The Outcome  The final zine was printed using a Risograph machine in two colours (yellow and blue), embracing the tactile quality and unpredictability of the process. I designed and illustrated the endpapers and contents page, and created my own double-page-spread illustration depicting The Hare and the Tortoise. The limitations of working with two colours encouraged me to think creatively about layering, contrast and composition.
